These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of getxmatch.com ("getxmatch", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Content & Community Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to create an account and use the site. By using it, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We recommend you do not publish real-world identifying information (full name, phone number, address, or financial details).
3. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- upload, post, or share any content that is illegal, or that depicts or involves a minor;
- post nudity, sexually explicit material, or any private image of a person shared without their consent;
- harass, threaten, stalk, defame, impersonate, or abuse other users;
- upload another person's images or content that you do not have the right to use;
- solicit money, run scams, distribute malware, or send spam;
- attempt to identify, dox, extort, or contact other users off-platform against their wishes;
- use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the site, or interfere with its operation.
Violations may result in immediate removal of content and termination of your account, and may be reported to the authorities where required.
4. User content
You retain ownership of the content you post. You grant getxmatch a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and transmit that content solely to operate and provide the service. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to everything you post and that it does not violate these Terms or any law. You are solely responsible for your content and interactions with other users.
5. Nature of the service — entertainment and user-generated claims
Much of what appears on the site is generated by users for entertainment and social purposes. Features such as compatibility results, ratings, relationship indicators, and "been out together" markers reflect statements that users choose to make about themselves; they are not verified by getxmatch and should not be relied on as statements of fact. We do not verify the identity, age (beyond the self-certification and any checks we perform), background, or statements of any user.
6. Assumption of risk
You interact with other users at your own risk. getxmatch does not conduct criminal background checks on users. Use good judgement, protect your personal information, and take appropriate precautions when communicating with anyone you meet through the site.
7. Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or that content is accurate, lawful for your location, or free of errors. You are responsible for ensuring your use is legal where you are.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, getxmatch and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, or from your interactions with other users.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold getxmatch harmless from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the site, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any lawful reason. You may delete your account at any time.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts there, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
