Everything you might want to know before you join getxmatch.
Is getxmatch free?
Yes. Creating a profile, browsing people, taking quizzes, voting in polls and chatting are all free.
Is there a minimum age?
No. getxmatch is open to everyone. Members under 18 and adults cannot contact each other, and members under 18 should use it with the permission of a parent or guardian. Members under 18 can also link a parent in Account settings, who then approves new friends and gets a weekly summary.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Choose “Forgot password?” on the login page. We email a 6-digit code to the address on your account; enter it with your new password. Changing your password signs you out on every other device.
Can I download my data?
Yes. Open Account settings and choose “Download my data” to get a .zip file with your account, profile, points, friends, messages, posts and your photos and reels.
Is my email address visible to other people?
No. Your email is used only to verify your account and for notifications. It is never shown to other members and is never returned by our public APIs.
What happens to files I share in chat?
Files shared in chat are relayed live between you and the recipient and are never stored on our servers — not on disk and not in the database. Images and videos are automatically checked for nudity before they are delivered. Only text messages are kept as history.
How do compatibility quizzes work?
You answer a short set of questions, then share a private link. When the other person answers, you both see how many answers you picked in common and a compatibility score.
How do I stay safe?
Read our Safety & Community Guidelines. In short: keep chats on-platform, never send money, protect personal details, and block or report anyone who breaks the rules.
How do I delete my account?
Open Account settings, enter your password, type DELETE and confirm. Your account and everything in it (profile, photos, reels, posts, messages, friends and points) are deleted permanently. You can download your data first.
