1. Create your account

Sign up with a username and verify your email with a one-time code. Your email is never shown to anyone else. Joining with a friend’s referral link gets you 2 points to start.

2. Build your profile

Add your gender, date of birth and country, then pick your state and city, write a few words about yourself and choose as many areas of interest as you like. Add a display picture and a gallery of photos and short reels (videos up to 1 minute) — upload them, or shoot them with the built-in camera and add a caption with #tags, a location and background music.

3. Find your people on the Highway

The Highway is the community feed. You see posts from members who share at least 5 of your interests, live in your country or were born in your decade. Post text, pictures and links — every picture you upload is shared there too.

4. Connect

Send friend requests, follow members, rate profiles and leave comments. Browse and search members, or send a request straight from a Highway post or the leaderboard.

5. Take quizzes and vote in polls

Quizzes are played in full screen with a timer on each question, and every question you answer in time earns its points. Quizzes marked as a Compatibility Quiz also give you a share link that stays open for 24 hours — when someone answers it, you both see how much you have in common and both earn points. An Open Compatibility Quiz link can be answered by any member: you see your compatibility with everyone who answers, and each of them sees their own result with you.

6. Chat in real time

Message one-to-one or in groups and send everyday gifts like a thank-you or a warm hug. Shared files are relayed live and never stored on our servers.

7. Earn points and climb the leaderboard

Almost everything you do earns points, and the leaderboard ranks every member strictly by points.

How points work

Quizzes: the points set on each question you answer in time (only your latest attempt at each quiz counts — a retake replaces your earlier score, even if it's lower). Some quizzes take points off for questions left unanswered when time runs out.
Compatibility quiz links: 10 points when someone answers the link you shared, and 5 points for answering someone else's — once per quiz for each pair of members.
Quiz challenges: after your first attempt at a standard quiz you can challenge one member who hasn't taken it. Whoever scores more wins the other's points for that quiz. Reattempting a standard quiz costs 30 points and can't be used to challenge anyone.
Open compatibility quiz links: 3 points for every member who answers the link you shared, and 1 point for answering someone else's — once per quiz for each pair of members.
Polls: 5 points for each poll you vote in (changing your vote doesn't earn more).
Highway: 4 points for every like your posts receive.
Friends & ratings: 8 points per friend, 5 per rating you receive, plus 20 × your average star rating.
Friend requests: when someone accepts your friend request you pay their friend fee (1 point by default) and they earn double. Each member sets their own fee, and unfriending reverses it.
Follows: following is free, and you earn 1 point for every follower you have.
Referrals: share your personal code with the Refer button on your profile — you earn 4 points for each person who joins with it, and they get 2.

Fair-play rules for quizzes

Quizzes are proctored. Leaving full screen, switching tabs or apps, reloading the page or connecting a second screen counts as a strike. The first strike is a warning; the second stops the quiz, locks that quiz for you for 24 hours and deducts 10 points.

Privacy and safety

Your email address is never shown to other members.
Only friends can see each other's complete profile and chat. Followers see a preview (your newest 3 photos) and your profile updates on Recent Activity.
Chat files are relayed live and never stored. Chat messages stay until you delete them.
Members under 18 and adults can't contact each other: no requests, chat, follows, ratings, comments or gifts between them.
You can ignore or report any member. Profiles that collect many reports are suspended for 7 days. Read our Safety guidelines for more.
